Magpie's Nest

The Magpies returned to their storm weathered nest today.

It was Corrie what did the damage, leaving simply a cup of twigs wedged deep in the fork of branches.  

They both took turns sitting in the nest  to arrange twigs, and hopefully they will raise a pair of chicks again this year.

Lots of bird activity including wee wren and Blackcap (f).
