But not for long.  Mrs B's sourdough is delicious, freshly baked or toasted after a few days.  It doesn't go stale very quickly and would last for over a week – if it lasted long uneaten, that is.

I posed it as a still life subject, looking for inspiration for a competition with deadline next week.  And now my printer nozzles are clogged . . .
