People like you

A really interesting day, I was out early this morning and someone had 'painted' a lot of stripes on the pavement going from the art centre into town. I found out that it was an artist exhibiting who was seeking to challenge our perceptions of disability. I was so impressed with the street art that I visited the centre and spoke to the artist, Sue Austin. She was a really inspiring person to talk to, and I hope that she does well with her work. Given that my job is working with children diagnosed with autism, disability, inequality and marginalisation are issues close to my heart.
