Trompe l'oeil

Intentional deception: the 'tree' is about 3 inches high, and is actually a twig bearing a mop of Usnea lichen that I fixed between the stones of a low wall.

Beyond  is the sea and a drizzly rainbow. I don't think it betokens much joy in the international situation.
