Crazed dinosaur runs amok in sleepy Bayreuth

Bayreuth is famous for its music festivals and above all its connection with Wagner. Is is a beautiful, well cared for town with a large pedestrian only centre, not at all the place you expect to find a dinosaur, clearly on the run from Tannenbaum, rampaging round and about to crush a clump of bicycles which it evidently finds an overly modern affront to its prehistoric values.
We took the advice of the signage and legged it with one last minute to spare.
