Result

Today we led a walk for Torbay Rambling Club, starting from here - one of the Drinking Fountains of Torquay.- except it is in Paignton, in the grounds of Oldway Mansion. From the 1890s it was in the Chapel Hill Pleasure Gardens in Torquay but was removed due to vandalism in the 1980s. At some stage it was re-erected here , missing its ornamental top.
Our walk took us through the Heartwoods, Occombe, and Scadson and the borders of Cockington. 
RESULT. We sent an email to Torbay and Countryside Trust on Monday about fallen trees blocking the path. Today we found they had been cleared - see extra. Excellent service.
