Funky chicken!

Was bored so went to visit my pal up the lane ( makes her sound like a hobbit) mind you we are both somewhat vertically challenged and of a smililar tomboyish disposition! so maybe hobbit isnt such a bad comparrison after all!
After a good blether & tea & biccies I thought it would be an ace idea to blip her hens! How difficult could it be to photograph such a domesticated creature? easy peasy! Wrong! regardless of bribes, name calling, cajolling, bread etc could I get a decent photo?
It didnt help that I have a fear of hens! Yes you heard it here - a Hebridean thats scared of chooks! I blame my grannie who often made me clean the hen house. And why do they call it hen HOUSE , its mingin & smelly! Mind you come to think of it my own house is sometimes like that!
Used to love the wee poem I heard in Glasgow
"If I'm a hen your a duck
I lay eggs & you lay muck"
