Kylebhan

This is the Kylebhan a fishing boat converted to carry passengers on holiday trips sailing from Oban.

More than twenty years agoI had the good fortune to enjoy a week on board her sailing among some of the west coast Islands , a most enjoyable holiday.

We did at one point run out of water for showering so the Kylebhan Boat Song was composed. I can only remember the first line-

Festering home with a pong in the air sung to the tune of - Westering home with a song in the air.
