50 year storm

Having tired of the luxury I made the family travel to see one of Indonesias most famous surf spots, Uluwatu. The surf at karma was double overhead so I was keen to see some pro surfing action. However as we arrived at the location the heavens opened and we were engulfed in a tropical storm. Katherine bolted for the nearest cafe but the boys and I struggled down the steep steps to the beach passing seasoned surfers shaking their heads and running for shelter. We made it to the bottom bar where some hard core Aussie surfers where attempting to start up a wet t-shirt competition with the remaining girls in the place.
I grabbed a couple of shots then we headed back up the steps that had turned into a raging waterfall. The locals looked on with amusement.
