Creative Concentration

Last night Ellie decided she wanted to write a story; I thought she would tell a story and I would record it, but no, she wanted to write it. She wrote three pages of her story with her version of "writing". It looked like scribbling across the page, but she stayed on the line and used nice curves and lines. She finished the story this morning with, "they lived happily ever after".  I was delighted that she was willing to hold the pencil and stay with her writing; her story was quite fun and imaginative too.
