Kilchurn Castle

On our way to the orienteering this morning we stopped off to bag the Turf Zone at Kilchurn Castle at Loch Awe. If you were frightened of cows then the path wasn’t for you as there were Highland Coos on it. This one was in the damp ground contemplating me as I took its picture with the castle in the background, The extra is Connel Bridge; I remember the time when it was a shared rail and road bridge.
