Leaning on a lamp post

Another change of scene..and here we are on a rainy afternoon down Grays Inn Road, as I walk from Kings Cross to the City en route to visit my parents in Sussex. I walked past this man and then doubled back to take his photo. I liked the bright colours of his hi vis.

The journey from Edinburgh to Sussex was uneventful. I travelled on the Lumo again and it was a very pleasant experience. I even slept for a while. I had been very upset when I went into WHSmith in Edinburgh station earlier and saw the papers; there was a photo of people fleeing Kyiv, trying desperately to get a place on the last train out of the city. I thought of the contrast between their journey and mine..
