World book day...

...is tomorrow. I thought I'd nailed the costumes this year. The youngest wanted ro go as a soldier, so I tried making him some trousers, but managed to make them too small, so bought some, except they haven't arrived. So all change and he will now be going quite happily as a fireman. The eldest is going to be a knight. They haven't really got a character in mind. 

Today I'm grateful for:
A talk with the Masters leader to get some direction for the dissertation
A run in the rain with the dog. 
The eldest going back to school and was greeted by his friends desperate to give him a hug.
