A pint at the local
A morning gutting chickens. A trip to Peebles. And then back to Dumfries.
I cook haddock with garlic and mushrooms, pink fir apples, carrots. Then a short stroll through a dark, wet town. I buy a couple of apples to go with the ripe Somerset Brie I got from the Sainsburys discount shelf.
On the way back to the flat we step inside the Dumfries Wetherspoons. It’s an impressive building. The Portobello Brewery APA is finished, so I opt for Bitter and Twisted instead. Always a good option.
And then back to the flat for Memento. Which Angus has not seen before.
