It's been a Lego kinda day!
Although not so funny when the children have had enough and leave it lying about. I'm not sure what is more painful, stabbing myself in the foot with a rusty sharp object over and over and over again or stepping on a Lego tree (pictured) I'm going for the Lego tree. I still have imprints in the arch of my foot.
Anyway, it brought me several hours of peace and quiet! We I They built a police car and police station (far left) then the holiday cottage (I built that ;) very proud) and then the Castle/House/Palace! Imagination is a wonderful thing!
I adored Lego as a child. I remember getting the Lego Fortress for Christmas, I was about 7, I could not have been more excited (it even had a working drawbridge!!)
We all went out for a walk after Christmas dinner except my step-dad and grandad, we were gone a few hours, I got home and they had made it for me. I was absolutely devastated.. I don't think I'll ever get over it ;)
