Other people’s hobbies

The A6 road from Milnethorpe towards Kendal is one I have driven on hundreds of times. But from the car you cannot see over walls into front gardens.

Today I walked up it for half a mile and discoved the one resident spends his time building model houses in stone and slate in the local style. There was also a church and an old barn.
I am not sure whether the roof edge timber is falling away from the weather or perhaps it has been deliberately built like that.
Its a bit puzzling that the fire engine seems to be a French one.

It is an example of how blippers go out having no idea what they are going to find.
