The last of 2012

The last tatties were lifted last week, as were the last parsnips. Really all that the garden has to offer is the purple sprouting (and a few brussel sprouts) and then we are into the dry patch waiting for all the things growing just now to get going.

Spring is always a time of new growth, life etc but it is the least productive time in the garden and the time I spend more time living off frozen food or shop bought.
