Leap n the Dark

Day two of my Scottish adventure.

Just before dusk three of us climbed up through a pine forest to set up the camera flash system before darkness fell. It was amazing sitting in a deserted forest, in total silence, in the pitch black, clear skies with stars twinkling down listening to the hoot of the tawny owl and the distant sound of geese over the loch. Magic. 

I can't tell you how excited I was that the pine marten finally came in and how wonderful it was to see such an elusive and adorable little animal. 

Not so elusive peekaboo pine marten in the extra
