Birthday Frolics

Had a drive into The Dales today to celibate my birthday. We went to Kilnsey to have a coffee in The Lakeside Cafe only to discover they are closed Mon/Tue.
Down the road to Grassington then for a wander around the town and a coffee in The Ecco Cafe.
A birthday isn’t a birthday without a pint so we called in The Red Lion at Burnsall and sat and had our drinks next to the banks of the River Wharfe in beautiful sunshine.
On our way back to Ilkley we saw a barn owl which caused much giddiness in both of us and perfectly finished off a lovely day.
