A mizzly wet day

A murky day, rain, drizzle and mist! Cold too

As it was a miserable day we decided to drive to a place we needed to visit and on the way back call into Hyde Hall for lunch and a walk around. On the way out we saw the car with Prince Charles and Camilla go whizzing past with police escort to Southend.  They were there to deliver city status to Southend and we listened to the speeches in the car.
It was a lovely lunch, walk in the gardens with hardly anyone else around, great for taking photos but difficult keeping the camera lens dry!  Chose the blip because it was so colourful, the robin because I love them and the lake just looked good with the reflections and colours.  Always something to see here whatever time of year.  Had a cup of tea before we left and a slow journey home, roads very busy.
