A Better Day

After the usual circuit I set to trying to sort out the hydro bill for the Hoy Kirk.  Instead of the usual £210 the hydro board is demanding £9,356.42.  Out of sheer cussedness I want to send them the 42 pence.  So I was on the blower today to a few folk to try to resolve things.  If I appear at your door asking for a pound you’ll know things haven’t been resolved.
 
CMC informs me that my membership of the Band of Hope has lapsed.
 
I have read a draft copy of Phyllida’s ‘Pocket Guide to Enthusiasm’.  Quite impressive; it should be in the shops in September.
 
For those not of a nervous disposition Creel HQ is easily discernible on the horizon.  CMC can be seen waving – her rolling pin.
