Nature Diary...Beautiful Aeoniums Schwarzkopf

Surviving in the winter in a closed porch with the afternoon sunlight shining through the windows.

Normally without sunlight these beautiful plants lose their splendid bronze colouring and become green, which is how they were starting to look a few weeks ago when they fiirst brought in from outside, but having sheltered away from the icy winter winds and long dull grey days these beauties have not only increased their magnificent dark colouring, they have grown far more than I imagined they would. We are delighted!
