In the Pink

I found this hibiscus today growing wild in bushland. I imagine it's a 'garden escape' - ie, sometime in the past a local resident has pruned their hibiscus and thrown the cuttings over the fence.  Anti-social acts can have a pleasurable outcome. 

Google Lens suggests the species might be a cultivar of Hibiscus rosa-sinensis called Mrs George Davis - or something similar.
