2022 Saturday — The Port House

This has been a slow, relaxed, leisure last Saturday of February. Mr Fun built model cars almost all day. He painted and then glued parts and was 100% caught-up in this activity.

Then at 4:00 we headed out to find a place to walk the pups. We were quite delighted that the temperature was considerably warmer at the back bay than yesterday and the wind had decreased to a very pleasant breeze. So we walked, and walked a little more, and Chloe and Mitzi both gave the walk a B+ because they would have gone a bit further than their parents chose too.

As we got the pups settled in the back seat of the car and then we got ourselves settled in the front seat, we decided to do the celebration dinner that we had not done yesterday, so we drove a couple blocks along the Embarcadero, found a parking place, and entered the Port House Restaurant in Morro Bay to sit in the bar where we could enjoy dinner and watch the sunset.

We had enjoyed dinner at this place a couple times in the past, so we knew it was a lovely place. Tonight we both shared a salad and both had fish ‘n chips. Dessert was a shared piece of delicious tiramisu (see the insert photo).
