Basking in Autumn Light
Anemone japonica, a flower which signifies to me the arrival of autumn and the linger of summer, where the two seasons mingle for a wee while, the mornings are cool, the days a little shorter but still quite warm and summery mid-day.
A cold 2C first thing this morning rising to a high of 28C by morning tea - a huge range in temperature with a warm gentle breeze, as I type its still warm outside with blue sky above and a few white clouds strung throughout the sky.
Many thanks for your kind words for my pink cosmos yesterday, think it made the spotlight for a wee while :))
Grocery day with Mum and a little mall shopping. Looking forward to tea tonight - fresh Tarakihi (white fish) fillets lightly pan fried in its own juices, no oil or cooking spray, served with a salad and maybe a potato for hubby.
Hope you enjoy another blip from my garden - Happy Thursday everyone :)
