Measuring Up

I have discovered that steel rulers are not just for measuring and providing a nice straight line for crafting.

I've started making the bunting and have cut out all the pieces but, after sewing the long seams of the 'flags' and turning out, I was concerned that the edges might not press evenly. I experimented with inserting a ruler close to the seam before pressing. And it really works!

So that's the prototype done, now I've a few hundred* on the production line before stringing them together.

I think this is a landmark discovery and my submission for Mono Monday, thanks to Jensphotos for hosting.
