Watching the planes

Funchal airport can be a nightmare.

My nephew was diverted three times last week and ended up arriving via the Porto Santo ferry.

I was lucky today and the plane took off on time and arrived a little early in Birmingham. However, the airport was chaotic and finding the luggage to venture out into the pouring rain.

But I’d had a lovely time trying to take videos of take offs and landings for Seth. I’m hopeless but slowly getting a little better.

There are planes of all shapes and sizes, and I’m trying here to show how embedded in the wonderful scenery this Cristiano Ronaldo Airport truly is.
