V& A museum- Dundee
Without question the new V& A museum in Dundee is Scotland’s latest major landmark.
Designed by Japanese architect, Kengo Kuma , opened in 2018 at a cost of over £80 million. Needless to say it has aroused some controversy.
The exterior is stunning, I think most people are agreed on that, but there are reservations about the interior. The most common complaint is that it is a big empty space.
Many thanks to jensphotos for hosting today's challenge mono Monday “landmark”.
Good news. Our Ukrainian friend, having fled Kyiv after being woken at 4 am last Wednesday morning with bombs going off, has arrived in Warsaw, a journey of over 500 miles. She drove. We are in contact on Facebook.
