The Last Bridge Before Jupiter

We were up early this morning in order to get down to Taunton for Tess’s hospital appointment at 9o’clock. They were very efficient and the good news is that she won’t need an operation after all; they think it should  knit and heal OK naturally from what they could see on the X-Ray they took today. She still has to keep it in a sling for another 4 weeks and has some exercises to do but was delighted to avoid having an op.

We celebrated with a mocha and a scone at a local garden centre and a walk along the Bridgwater and Taunton canal on the way home. I’ve mentioned before that there is a scale representation of the solar system along the length of the canal with scale models of the planets. This is the last bridge before you get to Jupiter, so something of a landmark, I guess!
