Black Prince, The Queens and the Pidgeons.

This statue has stood in City Square in Leeds for as long as l can remember.
The square it stands in has been revamped a few times in my lifetime but the statue has remained.
The Black Prince has no connection to the city and to be honest l’ve forgotten the story behind it.

Passed it today in pouring rain as l brought kitty to ballet, we came out of the train station next to the Queens Hotel.

Managed to complete my mono month and have really enjoyed it and learned a lot

Have included my months step count, during lockdown and other circumstances l really got out of the habit of walking but l’m back on it and want to do at least 1,000 miles this year. On track for the first two months.
