Coombe hill and Monument - a landmark

This is a landmark in the Aylesbury area.

It is a hill with a monument which can be seen from many places to the south of Aylesbury.

The monument  is a memorial to the "Men of Bucks who at the Empire's call lay down their lives during the war in South Africa 1899-1902.
