Mono Monday

Today’s blip marks the completion of my second month with Blipfoto. I hope to at least finish my first attempt at a 365 photo challenge.

Today’s Mono Monday theme is landmark. This image shows closeup detail of an old general store located in a small historical museum complex where several other old buildings are also being renovated to look like they did when new. This structure was built in 1875, and it was moved to the museum area in 1985, to save the landmark from demolition when an apartment building was constructed on its original location.

I enjoy experimenting with abstract and minimalist architecture images. I often photograph windows and doors as part of an ongoing self-assignment.
