Pair of asset strippers

On a very wet afternoon this pair of Bullfinches spent a good ten minutes perched in the branches of this ornamental shrub eating the buds.  The image is not that clear having been taken through a double glazed  window. Bullfinches used to be regular visitors to the garden  a few years ago, but were rarely seen last year.
