Mono Monday - local landmark

As the theme was a 'local landmark' I walked up into the Hangers behind our house and photographed this local landmark which is situated on the hillside (known as the shoulder of mutton). It is the sarsen stone dedicated to the memory of Edward Thomas (The poet who was killed in Arras in 1917)  He used to live in the village nearby.
