We need to take our fair share of refugees from Ukraine but where do we house them? Have the Afghan refugees we took in last summer been given permanent housing, or are they still living in hotels? We have thousands of citizens who are already living in sub-standard houses around the UK, who also need better homes.
After WWII, in places like Plymouth, hundreds of modular homes were built as a temporary measure, but which served families well for many, many years. Maybe this is what we need to build, but urgently.
