A Second Coming

No, not THAT second coming!  When I cut the two stalks of my spent Amaryllis bulb, I notice two small leaves sprouting between them.  Now look at them!  It does look like I may have a second bloom!  That is indeed a surprise and it this dark, dangerous and depressing world such a hopeful sight.  I will watch it carefully over the next few days to see if it does offer up a second bloom.
