City Break

What a treat! We were spoilt for the evening.
But first a trip to The English Market where I had my first ever poké bowl, see extra. I ate it outside the Mutton Lane, then went inside for the first time since P last played music there I’d say. We have stocked up on Brazilian cuts of meat (all Irish meat though) and coffee.
Dinner in The Glass Curtin, formerly Thompson’s Bakery building, a lovely job. A very impressive tasting menu.
The night was still young when we finished and I thoroughly enjoyed the buzz of a lively bar for a short period. However, the Belle View bar up by the barracks was a real treat, lovely, pleasant and a great welcome.
All of that then topped off with a night at Gabriel House, a luxury guesthouse. I think we got the best room in the house.
