someone's in the kitchen with Amber
I went to have tea with my friend Amber. she made a mean fish and chips. just what the doctor ordered.
sometimes I think we're unlikely friends, Amber and me.
we're very different. our tastes are different. our habits, our views on religion and science are different.
agreeing about everything isn't always what makes a good friend though, is it?
I like Amber's theories about who's likely to get along, as determined by their star signs. I mean, I don't believe it for a minute, but it makes for an interesting discussion. apparently I'm a lot like her sister - and we're both sagittarians.
I also like how Amber doesn't flinch at my appaling sailor mouth, even though she doesn't swear herself.
Like Amber herself, her flat is very interesting, so I took a heap of photos there.
this guy, hiding round the corner, in the shadows, mixing things up a bit, won in the end.
when I left, Amber gave me a cactus. I bloody love cacti (and irregular plurals in general).
what a happy ending.
