Sunday Family Fun Day
Those who follow me on blip probably notice we spend a lot of time sitting on bleachers or standing by a sports field. Whereas it may be boring for you who see the same old recurring scenes, being there in person is anything but. We only have a few more years before the grands will be finished with sports; watching each game is precious to us. My mother spent the night with us so she could join us. Mancil had two games today, both games were fun to watch. We won the first but lost the second. Our boy made several points, had a ton of rebounds and prevented numerous baskets by the opposing players. Maybe it helped that he had such a nice cheering section. At one point, I noticed how Brooklyn was intently watching her brother. My sister, joined our mother and me for lunch in between games. Hubby was at our church hall helping prepare lunch for the ladies who attended the annual CareNet Pregnancy Center baby shower. I just sent a gift. He got to the second game. We took Momma home and gathered more of her tax papers. We are now home watching the latest frightening news about the war in Ukraine. How far will this tyrant go? Prepare for the unknown folks. God bless us all. Thank you for dropping by. “Let us resolve to cherish those we love by spending meaningful time with them, doing things together, and cultivating treasured memories.” - Dieter F. Uchtdorf
