Standing Tall!

Great news! The hellebores have unfrozen and are standing tall again in the warm-ish (53F/11.6C) rain this afternoon. It was so good to see the plants thriving again. There's quite a bit of cold damage, but it doesn't appear that anything has succumbed, thank goodness!

The grands are still coldy, although getting better. So I had the day off from being grandma. I took advantage of the time to get caught up at my desk, both personal and botanical garden work and I now feel very organized. 

And of course you must see the progress of the Dragon Egg today! You'll be pleased to know that I changed the water - it was getting a bit murky. Soon I think that the creature will fully emerge!
