Quarter peal for peace

I was glad to get outside the church at the end of the service to warm up in the sunshine. We then went back inside to ring a quarter peal for peace in Ukraine. I believe peals for peace were rung in many places today in the UK. In the afternoon I attacked the flat pack desk. It said it would take two people two and a half hours. It took one person five hours! It was a complicated assembly but I think my years of practice assembling clocks may have helped!
