Springing up

Lazy Sunday today.  The garden is becoming more colourful with the primroses. I started off with a few plants and have let them be.

The news is not good.  While walking the hound on a beautiful morning with a clear blue sky overhead my mind couldn't help but consider that on this same planet others are sheltering below ground beneath smoke-filled skies riven with artillery fire.  Children, adults, pets and wildlife petrified.  Part of me is so angry with the arrogance of one individual responsible causing this.

Feeling powerless I've donated to the International Refugee Committee. So many charities have stepped up including the British Red Cross and UNICEF.

Hoping tomorrow will bring us nearer peace.
