I always get a little leap of joy in my heart when I start seeing daffodils appearing - whether it is the cut flower kind, as in today's image, or growing in nearby gardens. It heralds the start of spring and what feels like new life after the long winter months.
God knows we need a little bit of brightness in our lives after the overnight news of the devastating and tragic events in Ukraine. Your heart just aches for the people of Ukraine.
