A sticker on one of the lamp posts on the Prom. I think it is for the Italian football team Sampdoria. although the red line has faded badly and now looks more yellow. Sad, but not unexpected news from Elland Road today as Leeds have parted company with their manager Marcelo Bielsa following the latest in a series of humiliating defeats. Remains to be seen if the new manager can get enough out of the team to avoid relegation back to the Championship. I know there are much more important things going on in the world than football at the moment but I have decided not to dwell on them on here as it only emphasises my feelings of powerlessness and increases my anxiety levels.
