Angelica in winter costume

I don't know why, but I really like photographing this plant during the winter. It can be a challenge to find the right angle and make sure some random elements in the environment don't disturb the composition. Like today, there were long shadows because the sun still is so low on the horizon. 
Picture is taken at Svalbarðseyri, a tiny village by the sea, only 15 min. drive from our home. We very much like to go there on the weekends to get in touch with nature, and most of the time we are the only people there (especially if we go early in the morning).
