See That Girl

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

It’s The Youngest Mini Princess’s 17th birthday today. She wanted to have a chilled day so we ended up just sitting chatting at the kitchen table for most of the morning after opening presents (with Murphy stealing the discarded wrapping and running off to shred it).

We went for a walk with Murphy and then YMP wanted to have a Princess watch* of Queer Eye before going to Gratitude, a Thai restaurant, for dinner.

I appreciate nights as a family even more now that the girls are older**, and that as a family we enjoy each other’s company.

Most importantly, my dancing Queen had a great day. She went off to catch up with her friends after dinner for a movie night so we had a bit of Kiwi viewing with Wellington Paranormal!

**Except now that EMP drinks, we have to share a bottle of wine three ways!

PS We are hoping to get more value from YMP as a taxi driver than EMP, who passed her test a month before she went to university!
