Song thrush

As much for the sky as the bird. Another blip with twiggery and a bird at the top of a tree but it's so good to see, and hear, the birds doing their spring thing. Nature is great. A beautiful sunny and almost-warm morning with no wind. The lack of wind is noticeable after the last couple of weeks.

Our younger son is bringing the six year old over this morning for a couple of hours. We miss each other and this is a chance to catch up and devote ourselves to her. I hope we'll get out in the garden - if not this morning then later on.

Then time to prepare for the week ahead. Not quite as busy for me as last week, thank goodness. Still things to do but fewer evening meetings which, for my body clock, is an improvement.
