Christmas Cactus

Grocery shopping, talking with Nora, finished my book, Wild Women and the Blues.  Historical fiction by Denny Bryce - switching back and forth from 1925-26 to 2015 - Starts in Chicago in 1925 - amazing story.  Was fortuitous that in between all the BBC coverage on Ukraine we watched New Orleans, a 1947 movie featuring the real Louis Armstrong and Billie Holiday. Not a great movie but seeing Louis Armstrong and Billie Holiday perform was worth watching it.  The later part of the movie took place in Chicago.
