Took Paisley for a park walk this morning…haven’t done that for a few weeks now. The weather was bright but with some dark clouds around so hard to know how the day would pan out, but we had quite a good walk with dogs only in the distance so although she was on high alert all the time we didn’t have any incidents. Home and cleared up the kitchen and pootled around reading the paper, sorting some financial stuff etc til A was ready and we headed off for our facials. We’d booked this ages ago when we couldn’t get into a spa, and they were very good…never had a proper one before.
We stopped off for cheese toasties and a cake on our way home, and wandered along the Grassmarket and up the Vennel as A has seen this view so often on Reddit and Instagram but didn’t know where it was. After a cup of tea we did a bit of browsing at Fort Kinnaird shops as A had some clothes to take back and I’m looking for a double burner length stovetop griddle (no luck).
Lovely sunset, and still appreciating the novelty of the longer days.
Made some stir fry supper and we both decided to have early nights. It’s been the relaxing mooching about sort of day we both needed.
