On the Beach

We had a short break in the rain this afternoon. Just long enough for some beachcombers, optimistic fishers and a blipping photographer to head for Seven Mile Beach. Since then, the rain has returned. We've had 80mm in the last 8 hours, and 450 mm so far in February. Further north, in Brisbane and surrounds, they've had much more, with some flooding and loss of life.
